About Privacy - Aroundly

Privacy concerns are, of course, one of the first thought you have when you see a project like Aroundly.

The Aroundly team understands and wants to protect your privacy: for this reason we chose to give to anyone the possibility to delete any photo that is uploaded on our servers, without the need to sign up or to give a reason for that. Just click on the appropriate icon when watching the photo you want to delete: it will be instantly deleted.

If you think about other social networks that offer the possibility to publish pictures, the problem is always the same: everyone can upload a picture that should not be shown to others. Facebook, Tumblr, Friendfeed, Picasa Web, Flickr... they all are uncensored platforms, where your friends can share the photos when you, last night, drank a bit too much. Aroundly represents the same risk, but its open nature allows everyone to instantly remove any material that shouldn't be here.
We currently don't support photo tags or other face recognition system.

In any case, every photo uploaded is automatically deleted from aroundly.com web servers after 30 days.
